What's a good song....

  1. ...to play with just a drum and bass??

My buddy and I are going to try to get some songs together to play for a talent show and we can't find (or think of) any good songs to cover. We're heading towards the Punk and Ska genre but if anyone has any ideas, I would be much obliged.

    Thanks for your time...

My Name Is Mud by Primus

  3. "had a DAT" by sublime, on the second-hand smoke album.
  4. just do a flat out jam with the drummer, get him to just start playing and you play a line over it, great fun, improvising is the best!

Play a Tower of Power Groove i.e. "Down to the Nightclub" or "Squib Cakes". (Yes i know they are goofy names!) If you dont want to do those you could do "Silly Putty" by Stanley Clarke. Primus did a remake of it, it is on their Rhinoplasty CD.
  6. I bet YYZ by Rush would sound pretty cool with just bass and drums. :)
