Whats a used SWR Goliath Jr worth?

    I saw one for sale & it was 2 years old & in mint condition. The newer chrome grill versions.

    Apparantly the owner had it sitting in his apartment for 2 years. We'll see.

    He wants $300 for it. What do you think? If the condition is as stated, is it worth it?

    ok, here's the deal. You could get a brand new one out of musician's friend's catalog for $600. That's Prob the cheapest out there other than gutar center wich will either have it for 600 or something a little higher. See if you can work him down anymore as far as price goes, but don't make him think ur an idiot. Try the cab out. If it's really in that good conition, i'd prob go for it. :bassist:

    i clicked it. they only give you info on the 410 cabs. goliath 2 is 366 and falling, the goliath 3 is 490 and falling. a goliath jr 3 might be worth 300 bucks (and falling), a 2 would probably be more like 250

    I own 2 of those cabinets, both in mint condition. I had them in the classifieds to trade for other gear, but wouldn't part with them for under $300. I'd rather keep them...they sound great with my Focus.
