What's Better? An Akai E2 Headrush OR a Line 6 Echo Park Delay Pedal?

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Jay Terrien, Feb 22, 2005.

  1. I am looking for "innovative" delay sounds that would work well in conjunction with a MXR M-80 Bass Direct Box (with Distortion). Which would you buy: The Akai E2 Headrush OR a Line 6 Echo Park Delay Pedal? I've read the pros and cons of both but I am still not ready to buy!

    Thanks!!

  2. i am an expert in neither pedal, but i believe the headrush is a delay more suited for looping, while the echo park just has several different delay sims...
they both work well with an m-80

yeah, the headrush is more of a looper. I've heard great things about the echo park pedal

What reasons do you have for coming up with those two pedals? Maybe those reasons apply to other pedals also. I ask because those two seem odd as an either or.
