It's a nice overdriven boost Not extremely bassy or loud, but pleasant to my ears. Anything in particular you'd like to know?

  7. Ooh tasty. I've always been curious about these filters and the originals go for silly amounts of money. Please let us know what you think of the Seamoon clone?

    Going: Spaceman Nebula
    Coming: Mountainking Heavy Machine

I like the nebula, but I got the Titan at the same time and couldn't help but notice how much more usable and musical the Titan sounded to me. but I have been interested in a HEAVY Doomy Fuzz and Well... The Heavy Machine seemed an obvious choice. I had a magnetar at one time, but at the time was debating between that and the Heavy Machine. Ended up selling the Magnetar, was too buzzsawy for me. felt like I made the wrong choice. So I am finally bringing the Heavy Machine on to the Board to see what it does. Hoping it dooms to the max. It pretty much seems like the heaviest fuzz I could find.

I think, it'll work fine with bass, though I'm not sure, I'd really call it a boost as it really didn't offer that much extra volume (at least with my setup). Sounds more like an overdrive to me. So, definitely in the dirty side.

That's kinda what made me want it... :roflmao:

really? I know it has the More Heavy, but the Heavy Machine still has the Gate like the Magnetar (which I like as an option). And with the Dip Switches, it seemed like one of them was basically a "more" switch like the More Heavy of the Megalith. Well Heavy Machine was in stock as well vs the Megalith sent me to a Reverb Shop with just a Ruckus. anyways. If the Heavy Machine is Dope and stays and a Megalith comes up I will grab it just to compare.

I made a NPD thread explaining what I thought about the MTG pedal, and I know that @johnk_10 shares the same opinion about it. It's a good pedal, well built and with great features but it's clearly designed for guitar. It just loses too much low end and when we think of tubes, we usually think about fattening and warming up the tone, not the opposite.
