Where did you get it?
Reverb. Shipped from Japan.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on Abyss when you’re ready.
i got to play the Abyss a little bit over the weekend. It's awesome, as expected. It sounds very similar to the Oracle v1 and BOBW. I'd say the Abyss is smoother and a little more natural sounding but that's splitting hairs.

Here: Strymon El Cap v2. Was using a Timeline but only really the tape delay function, so a natural progression. And more space. This board, for a new project (bass, acoustic, keyboard, fiddle, 5 female vocalists) is pretty different than my usual in a way I didn’t notice until it was all together - no dirt. That’s a first for me, but it’s just not needed in this project, I’d be shoehorning it in. Only frustrating thing is no tuner. I’ve been bringing along a Strobostomp, and plugging it into the DC7’s remaining outlet, set off to the side. I guess that works, but I’d rather it on the board. Ah well. I refuse to use a clip-on. Anyways, the El Cap is awesome.

Still exploring the '78, I really like it though! The b though, is outstanding. I'm surprised the bias mod isn't standard, it's essentially a gain knob or how much grit you want. It could easily be an always on pedal.

Tough call on keeping though just because it's dang good, worth it 100%, but I already have it covered a 90% there with another on my board that's a part of a dual pedal.

Do I really want to redo my board more, or come back to it another day?

On the block: probably the phat phuk b.

Gone: v1 Time Shadows, Pickle pie B.

Speaking of which I need to update my ad.
