i have 4 Iron Ether pedals staring at me that I have to make some demo videos and tracks for...

I am talking to Max at SFX about some custom pedals for signal routing, etc...

I'm going to be getting the MXR M87 compressor thingy, and I want a good, grindy ampy kind of thing, which it pointing me in the direction of possibly a b3k or b7k.

Also, my flight case for my PedalTrain is finally starting to die, and I am in need of more real estate... so I'm thinking either adding a second, smaller board and getting a Pelican case that fits both, or checking out the PT3, although I am not sure if the dimensions will be right for me.

something to pay for the above... maybe my old Pedulla thunderbolt that hasn't come out of the case in far too long. Someone should be rocking that thing, as it is a badass bass, but just isn't my vibe anymore. Maybe I can sell it with Jojo's old Deep Impact as a Muse tribute package or something.

COMING: Boss LMB-3 (need to tame my phaser's peaks and my Terrordactyl's more vicious screams) and my Guyatone FL-3 Flanger back from my guitarist. (we jammed last night and I've come to my new conclusion that both phasers and flangers KILL on bass!)

GOING: Fender Blender (when anyone buys it).

"yeah.... i'm dating a hot grandma."

"you should make out with her while Murder She Wrote is playing. she would probably find that highly erotic. you should **** her on her plastic covered couch. you should **** her then have her send you twelve dollars on your birthday."

In: a new way to use the gated TAFM.

Set at a lower fuzz setting with the input gain past noon and more clean than fuzz volume the pedal sounds like a really awesome/nasty distortion. Then, hitting the gate switch (which essentially dimes the fuzz control) turns it in a super doom fuzz. Really neat and gets more versatility out of the pedal when you jump on the switch.
