I found a pretty cool bass at a local store today. I wish I had taken a pic, maybe I'll go back and check it out a little better this weekend if I have a chance.

It's an Aria Ric copy. It was bolt-on :(
    Pretty good condition.
    Nice binding.
Pickup under the ashtray looked a little corroded, but otherwise, the bass seemed ok.
It was *LIGHT*. Almost in a bad way. Almost like a fart could have broke it. I knocked on it a few times, didn't seem hollow or anything. just a really light wood.
    Made in Japan.
They wanted $600 with a case.

    Whaddaya think?

EDIT: I also looked around online a little, the only Aria Ric copies I could find were neck-thrus made in the 70s, RB650/750. I couldn't find this model.

  2. If it's a good shape/quality Ric copy, I'd snatch it up before someone else does. And take pics :)

Based on your description, I'd say overpriced, as Ric copies seem to be. Maybe this is because of the policing that's going on.
