For all those bassists here that have business cards, what info do you have on it? Do you prefer simple, basic, or a card with a lot of information on it. I was curious about designs and layouts since, with my recent move, I'm ordering some new ones. Post them if you like, (and blur out any sensitive info).

    Thanks.

A B&W picture of a grand piano, my name, and my phone #. I haven't made my bass cards yet, but they'll be the same with the pictures swapped.

  5. My old company card said " Internet Expert ", but my new ones say " Junior Product Expert "...

So you're more of a minimalist? I've seen some cards that list styles, genres, what type of work they do, etc.

I think right now I'm going with:

    Adam Rodriguez
    Bassist

    Ph#
    Email

Oh, and for everyone else, I meant MUSIC business cards.

When I used to have cards, It listed my name, the instrument I play, my phone # and my e-mail. When i pring out more cards, I'll also include my P.O. box address and maybe a website eventually.

Of course, I gotta buy a printer first.

i think they should be minimalist, but have a URL where they can see more about you.

    name
    bassist
    phone #
    address
    website

my band business card just has my name, bass/vocals/booking below my name, the band's name and brief decription ("Rock with deviations")
band's email, webpage, and my phone number.

I got mine on-line at an almost free place (vistaprint.com). they aren't exactly free because the shipping is a little high and the "free" designs aren't all that great, but they aren't bad.
I am not sure they are the best deal out there, I just got them becasue a friend did the same.

That sounds just about perfect. It's also cool looking if you make the phone and email smaller by tweaking the font, so that it's your name and whatever picture you might have (if and) that stands out when you look at the card
