I think he means that it's still pink in the middle. If you put it back on the heat for a short while it might be edible!
That's what amuses me about Ebay, if something is just a little different, the seller will enthusiastically say that the item is rare, or hard to find, and it is just funny. Sometimes for a little more, I could buy a brand new equivalent to what the seller is selling.
A helpful eBay rule is that if the listing says "Rare," it's most likely not worth clicking on, cause the seller is dreaming just a bit (or maybe a lot).
another word to be weary of: "custom" for example: http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1483941006
Yeah, I figured that the "Rare" was just a sales pitch. Whats even more annoying are those "FENDER FOR SALE SADOWSKY LAKLAND LULL" tags.
Nothing is rare about it. All you have to do is find one, or order one. The only reason they add all of the other brands to the listing is that when people search for things on e-bay they will find that item. jtbp
But Im not looking to a Sadowsky, Lakland or a Lull, thats the problem. And If I was looking for a Sadowsky, this would pop up, and it just wastes my time. I also hate the [email protected]@K thing, has this helped *anyone* find what they are looking for?
Whats even more annoying are those "FENDER FOR SALE SADOWSKY LAKLAND LULL" tags. I'm with you there...
I don't know if this makes sense, if you own anything that's rare, especially a bass, would you want to sell it? Let's say I have a Carl Thompson Bass or Walter Woods Amp or Orange Bass Amp, I don't think I would sell them.
Thats hilarious when ppl say something is custom and all they do is change some pickups or a pickguard or something.
If it's cosmetically better and tonally/functionally an upgrade, I think it fits. A pickguard swap out will not cut it!
I meant when you search for a Lakland or a Lull then this item will come up. It does waste a lot of tiem. Definately got a good deal! jtbp
