    G'day everyone

I'm trying to find pictures of this colour of fenders. they did it in the 80's i think and its a really wierd one kinda like a vomit burst/brown to gold to green. i think it was called antigua or something similar.

so if anyone has any pictures please post them or if anyone just knows the name tell me so i can google it.

    thanks a bunch:hyper: :bassist:

  3. It's ANTIQUA although you will also find it as ANTIGUA

Fender shot it in 1977 and 1978 only. You can find them but finding the original pickguards is a big pain.

They are totally beautiful in person, not so much in pictures. The MIJ reissues don't do the original justice.

My first and true love was a '78 antigua jazz - that looked almost exactly like yours. It had the block inlays, p'up covers... Damn I miss that bass.

    Great looking bass, man.

  7. i remember seeing the fender colorado in this finish it suited that bass, but i dont like the look of it on a jazz.
