    Waht title says!

I would like to know what would be the best pickup for Corvette. The output from the MEC pickup is not loud enough in some cases, although I'll get by most of the time. I could install Warwick's active MEC/ 2 band Preamp but it will cost me close to $250 or more. I don't have that kind of money right now. So, I need some advice from you guys who own Warwick.

By the way it is my first post here!

Try EMG's they have nice punchy output for a great price.

I was actually thinking about that too. One thing that made me not going forward with that is the negative reviews on the EMG pickups. Some says it is too hi-fi and hollow sounding. I play 99.99% in live and I need my pickup sounds to cut though the mix.

    Thanks for the suggestion!
