What's the difference between a 12" pizza and a jazz bassist?

replace jazz bassist with musician and you can offend more people with one shot.

 

This one is usually told with "trombonist."

 

The 12" pizza isn't an elitist snob that thinks jazz is the only worthy form of music?

 

That's not fair. There are plenty of jazz bassists (and other musicians) who crossed over, and just as many rock musicians who were snobs about their own genre.

This reminds me of the ever-classic joke "How do you get a drummer off your front porch? You pay him for the pizza!"

Some would argue that a jazz bassist could feed more than a family of 4...
