Can anybody (in a nutshell) explain the differences/advantages/disadvantages between these three rack mounted pieces of gear? Thank you :)

Here is my understanding, in a nutshell:

RPM has semi parametric mid control (like its pedal counterpart the PDDI), RBI has a mid control fixed at 1Khz (so you get a little more mid control than its pedal counterpart the original BDDI, the new V2 now has even more mid control), and the VT Bass is probably most similar to its pedal counterpart (heavily focused on copping a range of Ampeg type sounds). All the rack mount versions have additional flexibility/capability in terms of outputs and reportedly a bit more headroom than their pedal counterparts.

That is the really simple story as I know it.
