Whats the difference?

  1. Whats the difference bewteen the Brice HXB-406
    and the Brice HXB-406 Bubinga?

    The difference would be.... Bubinga!!! :D

    The standard Brice HXB-406 has an alder body with a quilted maple facing and matching headstock while the Brice HXB-406 Bubinga has the same alder body but with a bubinga facing and matching headstock. I would bet that the facings are relatively thin and will not likely affect tone very much, so I would consider it purely a cosmetic difference. My Cirrus has a bubinga face and it's one of my favorites so if you're asking for opinions, you can guess what mine would be. But there's no advantage to one over the other IMO.
