In my search to lighten my loads and save my back, I'm curious to know what the lightest power amp, suitable for small to medium sized (not too loud) gigs, out there weighs. The lightest I've found is the Stewart PA 50B coming in at 3.5 pounds. Anything lighter?

I think any Class D amp will come in with a favorable power-to-weight ratio. Both the Peavey DPC1000 and the AI Clarus are Class D amps.
