What's the most you ever paid for a (regular) beer at a restaurant, club or nightspot?

  1. Please no Chimays, Lambic Framboise, etc.

I went to a place here on Fisherman's Wharf after a gig last month...and paid SIX DOLLARS for a Sierra Nevada draft!!

(It was a very touristy area)

    How about you New Yorkers??

In Ireland 6 Euro in the US $5. Complete rip off considering how much product you are getting in a pint but i do have to say they were all very tasty. :)

I do remember the Ale being very expensive in Heathrow Air Port in England.

  5. I used to work at a 5-star hotel in Australia and they charged $9.00AUD (bout $7US) for a local lager.

$5.75 for a Black and Tan. Don't know if that meets the requirement of "regular beer." ;)

At concerts, ball games, etc., I'll see beers for $7+. (For a Miller Lite, no less!) That's just silly.

What are you all moaning about? $6 is £3.19 which is about right for a pint. Jesus.

    I payed $16.91 USD for a beer in a Swedish club :)

Yes, yes, and you pay $40 a gallon for petrol. I can't imagine what tap water runs you.

Yeah its a pretty good beer, but everything is that cheap in Myanmar.

  13. Two dollars for Lone Star Beer.

Yeah, it's practically beery-tasting water, but hey, they needed the money (seriously, they were facing bankruptcy).

That also explains why they sold to a minor.

About 5 bucks. When I go out, usually when I play a show, I'll have 1 beer per set. The cheapest beer in the bar: Pabst Blue Ribbon. 2 bucks a bottle.

If I remember correctly, a large beer at the Chronicle Pavillion in Concord, CA was $7.50.

I paid $5.25 for a Red Hook in a restaurant one time. I don't crave beer or alcohol enough to purchase it for those prices.

On a side note. My dad just got home from a trip to Salt Lake City, and got me two six packs of "Polygamy Porter". $10 for both.

Good old oppressive military governments - keeping the price of beer down!
