it used to be mudbone, like the character richard pryor did but as soon as mudvayne came out we changed it to Bad Sign as in born under one. probaly gonna end up changing it again anyway.

 

Polly: A Band Of Four Crackers. well, really just Polly. thats the slogan... "A Band Of Four Crackers". anybody that likes nirvana knows where we got the name.

My band was originally called Zipperhead. Then it was X-Seed and now it is Brass Munkey. I have become less of a fan of the name Brass Munkey, but what can I say about it -- I'm only the bassist.

If you form a band name it before you ask your mates. Book up the rehearsal rooms (I book it as Chris from Slacker) and everyone gets used to the name. I once joined a band that was choosing a name and after 6 months of punch ups the singer decided on Midori Obi thinking it had spiritual significance to only find out that it was Japanese for green belt.
