I have a Gibson EBO that the best I can tell is from the early '60s.
I have an Acoustic 2x15 cabinet from the early '70s. I recently gave away the Acoustic 140 head that came with it.

I have a whole bunch of old studio equipment(preamps, tape decks, turntables, microphones, mixer..etc.) from the 60s and 70s and 80s...but most of it is broken.

my brother has some studio monitors from like 1967 or something...they are about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide...but they still sound GREAT.

I have a lot of REALLY old vinyl :)
  5. A Weber upright piano from ~1862.

Oh, bass you say? Probably my Session amp from sometime in the 80's. I know nothing about it though.
  6. Teehee!
Mine's older! Gibson Grabber, early '70's model. Greta condition too! Can't for her to arrive :D:D :D
  7. Since this is the BG side of the board I'll start with my Plush bass amp early 70's (unconfirmed 1972).

But my oldest bass is a 1952 Kay upright.
  8. A Sunn 1x15 cabinet with a SPL915E driver.

Bought the Sunn BetaBass 100w combo around 1984, it was my 'rig' for high school jazz band, and gigged with it for a year. The amp portion finally went to hell around 1997. The speaker still works good!

You didn't specify BASS equipment, so I've got a 1968 Fender Champ amp with 3 glowing tubes!
  12. A 2001 MIM Jazz in the bass category, however I do have a Rogers Dynasonic snare drum from 1973 (collectors item). That bad boy positively cracks out big rim shots.

    My hands...sad but true.

Not to jerk your good question, but I have a `77 450W EMC amp, (3x15" in reverse "W" folded enclosure) and it's pretty useless compared to today's technology. It's just loud as all get-out.

I still have the fender p-bass and Acoustic 140/106 amp and an electro-harmonix "Low frequency compressor" pedal i bought new in 1974. I don't have much of the hair i had then left, though:D
  15. :D :D :D

    (I love those sayings!!!)
  16. I'm using an old Gauss speaker in my 1 x 15 bottom. I think it dates back to the mid 70's. I also have an Ampeg B80-N 15" combo from between 1973 and 1976.
  17. A Yamaha B100-115 bass amp that I bought in 1977.

My Ibanez Musician is second, made in 1979.

My Electra-Westone fretless is a 1981, I think. My Westone Quantum steinie copy is 1984.

I was gonna say my '64 P-bass...but I have given it a facelift.
    I do have a '64 Bassman amp...currently Out-of-Order.
I keep my '74 Bassman 100 cabinet in a room for practice.
Still have my 1st bass...a '72 candy apple red Epiphone bass.

    The oldest thing-
It's my '50s-something Kay acoustic bass!
