What's the one thing you wish you said to your ex band's front man?

    Mine would be:
When talking to the audience, stop mumbling and speak slowly and clearly. They have no idea what you're saying.

    Glad that's off my chest!

    Stop the madness
If you had said that at the time it might have made a difference. It's the way that you do it. In a roundabout reasonable way, assuming you're dealing with a reasonable person... Best not to let things fester. But then you don't go poking a wasps nest with a stick either.

  8. This band is a team sport, not a solo show.

And yes, I would mind giving you a ride after the gig because even though you "maintained" during the gig you shouldn't be driving.

Instead I said "goodbye," and good luck finding another bassist with the PA and lights who can also run them while playing and singing all as part of the normal gig.

It can be a bit of a tightrope, sensitivity to ever changing needs. Like a lot of relationships. Some you just can't, they've gone and got their very own reality.

    "MAKE YOUR @#!%ING MIND UP!!!!!!!!"

(EDIT: And, yes, I've wanted to say this to every frontman or frontwoman I've ever been in a band with at some point. I never did, though, because doing so in those contexts where/when I wanted to would have been tactless and made me look like the bad guy.)

Listen to the recordings of those first three songs at the last show we did. You think that's entertaining? How about warming up your voice before you hit the stage.

Depends on which one. In order:

1.) Sorry. Wish I had known. I might have been able to help.
2.) Best to you on your next endeavor.
3.) You should have thought of that before you acted. Now you must suffer the consequences of your actions.
4.) Wouldn't have mattered because their ego clogged their ears.
5.) Take care. Maybe we'll be in a band again. Keep in touch.
