    hi guys. i just found this in a box of speaker stuff and i wonder if you guys can tell me what it is and also wheither i could use it for anything ( keep it clean)?

    thanks major , i would love to have access to google but i cant get internet where i am( i snaffle a bit of phone wifi when i can) i dont even have phone coverage where i am. you guys are so lucky.
    ps i am on a satalite wifi from next door at the moment but its not fast enough to google even if i had the app on my cruddy phone.

    thanks B STRING, could it be useful in a cab build or should i pass it on to an audio fan?i got it with some big 15 inch bayma speakers.

    It would be great on a tweeter, if you use tweeters.
     
  6. Exactly, it is a crossover for a HF driver (tweeter). If will not limit High Frequencies to woofers, only low frequencies to "tweeters". :)

    ok. thanks guys. i'm not a tweeter type so its as much use as a chocolate teapot to me so i will donate it to someone who can find a use for it.

  8. The site lists them as $100 a pair (available as a pair only), so they are at least priced as a decent quality item, but the "available as a pair only" clearly shows them to be at least "intended" for stereo speakers.
     
  9. But a crossover does not know the difference between HiFi, PA, DJ or MI. ;)

    i must say, when i found this one in the box of bits it seemed to be pineing for its mate. i felt quite sorry for it.
