So I have a Modulus Flea 4 with a Gotoh Bridge on it, unbelieveable bass by the way! I understand fully and am capable to adjusting the string height, but I am unaware of what those phillips head screws on the underside of the bridge do. My guess is they adjust the actual length of how much of the string resonates, but that's just my guess. Help would be greatly appreciated!!

  2. if you were to turn them, would they slide the contact point along the string? it sounds like it. those are for setting the intonation. do a search and you'll find lots of threads with links to sites explaining how to do this.

it makes notes more in-tune all the way up the neck.
