What's up with this Fender logo?

    What happened to this? The description just says "I fudged it up a little."
    Was it applied over the finish?

    Any ideas? Thanks.

    Figured so.
    At least the neck is. Says it's licensed though. I guess he must have just replaced it and not applied the waterslide well.

    licensed just means that the company that made it is allowed to use fender's design.
    mighty mite, allparts, warmoth....all fender licensed. that logo is a reproduction waterslide poorly done.

    The String tree screwed in at an awkward angle caught my eye more than the logo.

    Just spray some lacquer over it and sand it level. It will make it look a lot better.
