Something has gone wrong with my ibanes atk 300. It just began sounding really bad. There is this constant buzzing and something just sounds wrong. I am not sure what I can do to fix it. I have heard that the inputs generally suck on atk's. Is there any way to know if that is what is causing it? Or does anyone have any other ideas? If it is the input, are they very hard to replace? Thanks

  2. if it has an active preamp. check the battery, just drop a new one in. check connections, plug up and play.

I learend that the hard way with my RB800 too - a new battery fixes everything...dopn't leave the bas plugged in when you don't use it...

I will give it a try.

  5. Quoted for emphasis. Leaving an active bass plugged in kills the preamp battery FAST. I learned that the hard way a couple of times.
