Name you dream band of one or two guitarists, a singer, a drummer, and a bassist. Mine would be the following:

    Singer-Chester Bennington(Linkin Park)
    Guitarist-Wes Borland(Limp Bizkit)
    Guitarist-Tom Morello(Rage Against the Machine)
    Bassist-Chi Cheng(Deftones)
    Drummer-Travis Barker(Blink 182)
  2. my dreamband ? hmm.. to be very honest.. i'm currently playing in my dreamband.. :D
  3. Why does it have to be guitar/guitar/bass/drums/vocals? I'd have:
    Me - Bass
    Oscar Peterson - Piano
    Stewart Copeland - Drums
    Ian Anderson - Flute

At least for now, ask me in an hour, and it'll be different.

  11. Clifford Lee Burton or Nikki Sixx - on the fat four string thing

Tom Morello or Joshua Homme (from Queens Of The Stone Age) or Dave Mustaine - on the little squeeky bass-like thing

Tommy Lee or Kieth Moon - on the skins

Scott Weiland on vocals or possibly Brandon Boyd (from incubus)

Jaco or Stanley Clarke (dependent if jaco is sober or not) - the worlds greatest instrument
    Pat Metheny - Guitar
    Al Di Meola - Guitar
    Bob Moses - Drums
    Wayne Shorter - sax
    Alehandro Acuna - Percussion
plus i would add in a brass section

(hey, the ventures didn't need vocals, they only used about three words: "Secret Agent Man." There really isn't a whole lot of vocals in this style either, but jaco did some scat, and did clarke sing, "Life is just a game?")

Well, I named off most of "Weather Report," ( i guess i think they are too cool) but without Zawinul. I don't really like Zawinul that much (i kinda think of him as technology overkill, Why did he double jaco's bass lines with synth?!!.) I really only like moog, in the style it is used in Stanley Clarke's "School Days" album. It isn't over kill, and it doesn't take away from the sound.
