Funny...I currently drive a 2000 Nissan Xterra (no 'E') in denim blue. I really enjoy it. It serves me well off-road when I need to get around my family's land (350 rugged acres) and has 65 cubic feet of cargo space for my music equipment. Sure wouldn't mind having one of the new supercharged ones though.

My dream car is a BMW M Coupe (yes...the one with the Z3 body but with station wagonesque bubble-butt and that phat engine). That sucker is fast, cool looking (IMO) and not sure but from the outside it looks like I could possible fit a gig bag and maybe a 2x10 + head into it. Anyone know fer real if it has cargo space in that back end? Not that I'll ever be able to afford one.

I just saw a new Hummer that was sharp... but truthfully I drive a 1985 Volvo 240 DL Wagon that would be a dream if'n it was a tad more reliable (it's cresting 350,000 miles and getting real tired).

My old man has the car sickness (brand new ride every 3 years on average).... cobra mustangs, formula firebirds, saab turbos, triumph tr8, fiat spider, etc, etc, etc

bores the crap out of me :meh:

I'm 30 now, and I have always had a hobby of restoring mustangs. My dream car is either a '67 or '68 Shelby GT500 4spd in either dark green or white.
I'm a total gearhead, always wrenching on things and pumping more power out of a vehicle than stock. My current facination is the diesel engine. I have aready more than doubled the horsepower in my little pickup truck (dyno proven).

This is my daily driver and the gig-rig.....

I drive an 88 SPG, slightly modified for some speed. My dream car? Something that gets 30mpg at least, is very fast, fits my gear, and most importantly, has excellent suspension.

My husband wants a Shelby(like the one on Gone in 60 Seconds), A Harley Davidson, or an older style Hummer! (the HUGE ones) I do miss my 1986 Hondas Prelude..but an Xterra will do me JUST fine...(I am small.....under 5') Tried to drive a Pathfinder(the new ones) and too big for me

Between wifey and me we own 10 vehicles.
Weve got monster trucks and drag cars, but my current daily driver is an 84 Chevy pickup with 353,000 miles on the clock.

    Dream car is a 69 Z28, Lemans blue/white stripes, DZ302 and a 4 speed.

Next project is either a Suburban with 44's, or a smallblock S-10.

    Current ride is a Volvo. 1998 S70 T5 [ with a
5 speed stick, last of the dinosaurs ... ] Good
    car. Pretty family sedanish, though.

It replaced a 1984 Mazda Rx7. Believe it or not, if I moved the seats up a notch, it fit my Acoustic Bass cab with the 1x15 speaker under the hatchback. Outstanding car, drove it till it dropped at 227k.

The fantasy car is the 289 AC Cobra, or a decent replica thereof. They are commercially available at about 50k, so that ain't getting into my garage anytime soon. By the time I could afford it, I won't want it anymore anyway.

But wanting is better than having ...

My wife wants an Xterra too (or the Chevy Avalanche)... thou we're looking at used Mini Vans to replace the Volvo with.

Nice Saab Blisshead, my old man's last Saab was a 1989 SPG (he had the chip and exhaust upgrades... kept chewing up clutches). He offered it to me at a nice price in 1993, but I had to pass)

I've been lucky on the clutch front (knock on wood) so far. My main enemy is rust. The slightest scratch and the thing rots.
  14. my husband calls the Anvalanche the "Rubbermaid" truck, cuz of it's body style:)

I'm driving a '93 Honda Civic CX Hatchback, Red. She's got 160K miles on her, the a/c is dying (this is a serious problem in Orlando! ), and she's starting to blow a little "magic smoke" - but the engine starts the first time every time.

I'm going through some seriously goofy stuff personally, so I'm not dreaming too much right now about cars...

...but I have to say that as goofy as it looks, the Honda Element has begun to attract my attention...

    ...it's all Siff's fault! :p

Also, the Civic Si Hatchback is kinda cool. :D

I will stick with the Hondas, they seem to hold up very well for me.

A few weeks ago on my way home from band practice a Cobra pulled up behind me. It was pretty damn sweet, and sounded good too. I definitely wouldn't mind having one of those.

Right now I drive an '88 Accord DX. It's old and it's kind of slow, but it runs and runs and runs. My dream car in terms of something that I could actually afford and be able to use as a daily driver is a Subaru WRX wagon. Plenty of fun and usable space.
