    Right now, I'd say Spector.

I also like: Godin, Fender, Music Man, G&L, Rickenbacker.

Wals and Benaventes, with props to Lakland, Ken Lawrence, F-Bass, Phil Kubicki and Alembic.

  6. Recently I am really into Lull's. Lull, Dingwall, Sadowsky, maybe Cirrus. Benaventes and Eshenbaugh are great too.

Each time I quit Rickenbacker, I went back to it... Yeah, I'm seriously addicted.

    Here's my 4003.

    Cheers

I would also have to agree with Dave. I love the sound of Spector Basses. That's not to say there aren't other basses that I like. For certain things, you have to have a jazz, stingray. It all depends on the tone you're going for. For me though, Spectors have a better overall sound.

The 4003 is probably my favorite bass, but it's going to be a long time before i ever get to own one ... i've also been curious about what those things look like in midnight blue ... i've seen a million Jetglo and Fireglo's but i'm yet to find a Blue one. Meh ... who knows, i may end up adopting a "black instrument only" policy depending on what color bass i get to learn on.

    Treena,
Do you have the Sadowsky Five with maple?
Just curious because I like the old Fender style too. I've got two Laklands and one Sad PJ/4 on order.

You also have the largest access to the little round icon people I've ever seen. Hook me up.

    thanks

  20. Yes, I do, I purchased mine from Myron Dove a few years back. I'm looking at another one real soon too!
