    "here we go again" by Operation Ivy is a great line too play!

  7. Ruby Soho by Rancid and Crossroads by Cream. Crossroads is a good one to let loose on, there seems to be a lot of room to change it up. Yo.

    I never have ONE favorite, but usually have 5 or 6 that I just get into. Right now they are:

    * Strawberry Letter 23 - The Brothers Johnson
    * When The Spirit of The Lord - Fred Hammond
    * Forget Me Nots - Patrice Rushen
    * I Heard It Through The Grapevine - Gladys Knight
    * Let's Work - Prince
    * 100 and Rising - Incognito

    Peace,

    James

    I like to play a mix of metallica's best which feature:

    "My Friend of Misery", "Anesthesia"(sp?), "For Whom the Bell Tolls", and numerous things that jason used to play live (from live sh!t, cunning stunts)

    I mix those around. I usually play those each time I pick up the bass. Of course there's a couple other ones that I usually play, but I can't think of them right now :D

    That's a great song! I played that song in the first real band I was in. (OK the band lasted and week and existed only for the purpose of playing at the last assembly in Gr. 12). Anyway it's fun for me because it brings back those memories.

    It's so easy, but so inredably groovy... i dig it.
    One of the few songs I can sing and play at the same time, first line I ever learned...

    My two favorites would have to be Teen Town and Yyz.

  17. Man, I wish I could play either of those. Right my faves are the very short parts that I know of "Schism" by Tool and "Home" by Dream Theater.

    I didn't say that I could play them perfectly. They are both works in progress, although I can play about 90% of Yyz at full tempo.
