You and your green thing. Green basses, green lights ...

At least you're well prepared for St. Patties.....

    My blood is green. ;)
  4. Multiple colors with some extra white lights so I can see better, and definately no strobing or bright flashing lights. It's to much of a distraction. :D

Favorite is probably blue, but I always get stuck with yellow.

well, i've only ever performed under a bright white spotlight, so i'd have to say blue (sometimes purple). nice mellow color, but with enough light to see. green wouldn't let me read my effect's processor's digital writing, red wouldn't let me see if any of my effects are on, and yellow's too bright.

i've got some blue x-mas lights on my rig, so next nighttime show- no lights.:D

  8. I'd have to say blue or green, even purple. I'd much prefer a deeper color like those to something warm and bright like red or yellow.

    Anything except red.

Red looks good in the mix, but can easily dominate. It also looks bad in photo's, as the sensors in digital cameras are over sensitive to the red, and what looks like a little red on stage turns into a horrible mess when you view it later.

A little red is OK, but stick to the green and blues.

I like blue, purple or red as long as it's not too strong.

The problem with the initial question is that it doesn't take into account WHERE the light is coming from and this makes a HUGE difference. As pro lighting designer I wouldn't put a green light on anyone's face unless it was for a real specific effect...like making you look like the living dead. From the back sure, no problem but green skin is a pretty big turnoff to most types of audiences.

Blue. But it'll probably look purple to me since I'm colorblind :crying:

For softer songs I really REALLY like playing under blue lights, it's just so calming and since I play Praise and Worship it just makes it so much better. The harder stuff I prefer purple and dark blue and assorted colors.
