Nice bass. I've always been curious on what a Lightwave sounds like?
This weekend my blues band playing a brewery on Cinco de Mayo. I'm thinking about the B|Amp and HG410. Bass-wise, probably my Sadowsky Satin Deluxe RV5.
Just got in #2. Whoah!!
EBMM Big Al-5
NS Omni 5
Gig is Sacramento First Feetival.
Thanks for sharing , just ordered.. been looking for a good 4" strap
Thank you! I appreciate your response.
Like it very much after about 5 months with it. I’m not exactly sure what amp sims I’m using by amp name because I’ve simply taken the 5 or so patches that sounded decent and edited them to my needs. I’ll need to check what sims they’re based on next time I power it up. This weekend I’ll try to get amp names as opposed to ‘patch’ names.
I’m not a huge user of effects but they sound amazing and the graphic and parametric eq’s are each excellent.
No surprise I guess as this is Protools hardware.

Seems to be excellent quality. Two for one I couldn’t pass it up. The padding in my one strap is drying out and the whole thing is getting stiff. Glad I decided to sit around and Talk Bass this evening.
MTD Kingston 5 String Bass (Nordstrand MM5.2 Pickup, Audere Classic 3-band Preamp)
Boss TU-3 Tuner
Randall RB 125 ES Amplifier
GK Backline 210BLX Speaker Cabinet
Insignia 11.6" Android Tablet (for sheet music)
Airturn Duo Bluetooth pedal (for turning pages on tablet)
Now, normally I play at church DI'd to FOH, with a wedge monitor from the house system, so I don't own any amp bigger than my 15 watt practice amp. This time I'm playing with a choir that I sing in, and needed an amp for a monitor (still through FOH for main sound), so I borrowed the Randall amp and the GK cab from a co-worker.
Friday morning’s throwback rig for the Special Olympics music stage:
My 6th year, BL’s 28th. A great excuse to rock!
This, Quilter BB800 as a backup amp.
Weekend gig #1: a venue just across the street from the Washington Nationals baseball stadium (stadium not really visible in the pic). Setup was rushed so I only set up the dUg pedal... sounded killer, though! I would have preferred to play my Zon, but we were outdoors, it was really hot and humid, the strings on the Zon are brand new, and I didn't want to kill 'em with sweat. So I played the "hot rod" bass, and killed those strings... not a big deal, they weren't fresh.
Weekend gig #2 tomorrow evening.
Fuzzbass, a rare gig photo for you...no Sadowsky bass!
This is my choice for the weekend.
Yeah... new venue, I knew it would be somewhat chaotic... f'r instance, I'd have to leave my gear unattended while I drove 2 blocks away (thru heavy city traffic) to park my car, then walk back. Turns out there was plenty of security (event staff) on hand, so if we play there again I'll bring a Sadowsky!
Also, my black Sadowsky P is currently strung with Elixirs, which are sweat-proof.
You'll have to give another post gig report on that dUg... wink wink... any reason you're opting for the DI from amp, (other than I know how awesome the Reiner is) more EQ control?
Last night. Sitting in with a few friends in a small wine and dinner club gig. Country and oldies on the set list. The old school Peavey Basic 60 does the job once again!
Took out my new to me Genz Benz UBER QUAD 1288t and UBER BASS 115t along with the NEO PAK 3.5 to last nights gig with 2 Schecter Omen Extreme's and a Sterling Ray 34. Posted the pics on the Genz Benz Official Club V2, but thought this was a good place to post them as well.
Are these the cabs that are sold with the amoeg mivro vr?
