In my opinion i think the finish on a bass can really comploment the figured top on a bass, other times i think a natural finish is great too. Here is an example of when i think a finish and a top connect well together, man this is such a great body ;) :hyper: . http://www.talkbass.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=15713

If you could get a matching headstock on that, then the bass would be totally intense. I'm not usually a fan of green, but I have to say that that body is great. Probably because that combination is so unique.

Great hunk of wood! Too bad it won't be a real J bass :ninja:

No on the matching headstock and the P pickup in the neck, but a resounding yes on the colors. That bass rocks.

Ok. That's hot. Green and black are the ultimate color combination.

I would get this body in a heart beat if it was chambered and had a greenburst back.

Funny thing is that Warmoth used call it their Thrift Shop. They wised up and realized that they were showing some beautiful pieces and didn't need to imply budget pieces.

True but often the prices on those pieces arent any lower then if you ordered it custom.

  20. One of these days I'm gonna overcome my dislike of the Fender body shape and get Nino to build a nice bass with one of those crazy tops.

That day will come when I have enough money to eat, pay rent, pay bills and still have cash left over :p
