When should I upgrade from practice amp?

    Greetings:

I am a very new player, working now with a teacher for about two months. All I have right now is a small cube practice amp and a set of headphones which I use.

My question is: when should I seriously consider upgrading to a true amp setup for playing purposes?

As it stands now, I am not even in a band, so there is little rush. I am just curious as to when you guys think it is necessary or useful to start working with one.

    Thanks
    Bullet

Start working (as in playing together, not as in making money) with a band? IMHO, as soon as possible! There just isn't anything funner than jamming along with others!
As for the amp question, I would say get a bigger one when your practice amp isn't loud enough.
