I'm playing a St. Patty's Day gig at The Swallow's Inn in San Juan Capistrano so I thought this would be a good occasion to break out some major thumpage. Behold the tools I plan to take to the job. The Fenders are new, American Series J and '51 Reissue P bass. The amp is a 1970 SVT with '70 cab. The cab and amp have replaced grills (and the cab was carpeted years ago) but man, that thing is still my idea of the world's best bass rig!

The Sr. is gone, my man! Sold it to a killer bass player from LA along with the SWR Bass 750. He fell in love with it and...he had the cash!

Thanks, bro. The bass came with a white guard so I put this tortoise one on that I had laying around. Yeah, I put the sticker on it.

Thanks, Funkster, stevekim and Nino. The pleasure is mine, Fuzz.
  15. You should get some of that blue/silver grill cloth. Then it would be perfect.
