Definitely NEVER hesitate when she says "go ahead" I ALWAYS buy when she says YES, 'cause if I don't want it later, I have it to trade and she might not be in the charitable mood when I want that next thing - she's the boss when it comes to money 'cause if it were up to me we'd a house worth of cool gear and no house to put it in

Maybe it's just me but I get nervous when my wife encourages me to spend money on bass gear, I get the feeling she feels authorized to spent the same amount of money in something for her! ...good thing I don't buy expensive stuff!

Yeah, they have nice wood at Roscoe. The fretted is Koa, the fretless will be quilt maple.

 

Well, there is another way to get what you want without worrying about your wife...get rid of your wife, worked for me...

 

I have one of those wives also. She is constantly telling me not to cheap myself out. Get a good one "you deserve good equipment".

My wife gets tattoos. Those things (good ones anyway) aren't cheap. Not quite what my Roscoe's cost, but pretty close.
