Simple answer to the question at hand, with no sarcasm intended, is right from Sadowsky. Nino said they're $7.50 apiece, in a post from the way back when:
Pedulla and Aguilar also seem to use the exact same knobs.
I think Ampeg use those on their heads.
Straight from Sadowsky.
I think you're right.
As far as the knobs, someone here recently posted pics of their bass showing they had just added those style of knobs. Wonder where they got them...
+1 I have a friend from talk bass who bought them from the Sadowsky shop.
Just buy the whole bass you cheapskate.
Hmmm question, are they good knobs? Knobs on my dean just broke (and I mean broke... the metal peace basically snapped for no reason). You guys think they will fit to dean style? Look similar.
God I want a new (used) bass, this thing is nice and all but I think its a better back up bass as it sounds very good but likes to have small problems.
I'll have to give them a call. The knobs aren't on their site.
Thanks for the info.
The ones on my Sadowsky sound pretty good to me.
Sadowsky, Pedulla and Aguliar (DB750) all use those knobs, at one point all my basses AND amp had the same knobs. It gave me a distinctive tone.
Hmmm thanks guys, i'll give them a try. my old ones were made out of metal mixed with aged poop. Not cool.
