   I have a Yahoo account which gives me some web storage, but I can't link up to any of the pics/sound files unless I pay them money.
   
   I'm sure there's SOMEplace online where I can put pics/soundclips/por-...soundclips for free.

   yahoo's geocities wont cut it.
   
   www.freeservers.com is an EXCELLENT free web space provider.
   www.50megs.com is nice too.
   
   they both allow file uploading/ftp support for all your images and sounds.
