where can I get supplies for making pickups

    i learned how to wire pickups the other day, courtesy of TB, and now I'm wondering where I can get magnets, and covers and stuff. thanks

    stewmac will supply you with parts to make guitar pickups ... not bass pickups.

    i have bought and made pups out of Stewmac's tele pup kit. the quality is poor but it will do the job for starters.

    ampge: found it hard to deal with him. so i am starting to buy magnets from China directly and using local plastics for fiberboard works.

    there is no thread on how to wind pickups. The only guys I know who have started winding pups from scratch all have used Jason Lollars book, last check was out of print. I know of no exceptions off hand but maybe this will flush them out.
