Sugarland TX? Wow, that sure brings back memories. I grew up in California. I remember being a kid (age 10 or 11) visiting my grandparents who lived in Rosenberg TX, and they took me to see the Houston Astros play at the Astrodome near you. At that time (1966) there was n-o-t-h-i-n-g in Sugarland but wide open fields, and I remember we could see the Astrodome from miles away as we drove toward it. It was literally out in the middle of nowhere.
I know that it's not like that anymore in that area.

I hear ya! I'm an engineer too (civil), and I am also a slave. (...at least it seems like it at times). Sometimes I have to tell my wife, "hey, I'm not just a piece of meat, I have a brain too." Sheesh!
