Where do you buy a fretless P?

    The subject says it all. I'm talking in a decent price range of around 300-600 or so. Who makes/sells one?

    Even if you were to go a bit higher, does Fender sell a MIA P? Does the Skyline BG come in a fretless? :eyebrow:

    if that was my budget... I'd score a nice used MIM or MIJ (or new even) and stick a nice fretless warmoth fretless neck on it.

    Wow, never checked them out, that IS an option isn't it? good quality necks I'm assuming, huh?

    What kind of neckwood do you guys prefer for fretless? I love the look of a maple neck on a bass, but I can hear that tried and true ebony calling....

    I'd say go with the ebony. I think there were a few bodies on the classifieds here that you could build your own.
