Simple question, but just wondering so as to open up the world of great deals to me, even if they are rare.

    I know of, thus far:
    eBay
    bassgear.com
    talkbass classifieds

LDS and Bass Central sometimes update their used gear, but is there anywhere like bassgear.com that sort of specializes in it?

    Thanks.

Do a google for it. Also just keep in touch with other musicians in the area. I'm finally picking up a used Bergie 210 from a fellow musician who I have played shows with on Monday.

In addition to the above, you have the Dudepit (www.thedudepit.com), gbase.com and musicgoround.com.

BassNW and Bass Emporium also tend to have a pretty good selection of used gear.

Go to the eBay category Guitars > Amplifiers, then search for “bass”. Finally sort the results by distance. That will give you local sales, saving you shipping and taking the risk away from bidding on zero feedback sellers.
