Any of you guys ever think how come us bassist's can't get $4500 (maybe not that much but something) for our old junk basses towards a new ax?

I thought about starting one of those, I wasn't sure how it would go over. I'm sure that there is a bunch of us builders out their that would go for it.

I just kinda posted it as a joke but if builders offered something like this it would help

I would be willing to work something out, we would need to lower the $4500 alot. Maybe a good trade towards a custom build, or something.

I thought you where going to give me a call and come over to the shop? I really don't know about 3 squiers, maybe some cash and...?

  10. If you want to watch your old bass being executed in the most hideous fashion possible i'm sure it's a great idea. Have you checked out what happens to the clunker cars? Nothing deserves that kind of treatment!

Let's not limit our redress of grievances to just basses.
Let us pile on and get a voucher for a more electrically efficient amp when we trade in our old wattage suckers from the 60's - 80's that the nuclear plants are straining to keep powered up.

This is a perfect sales campaign for Guitar Center to adopt.
