someone teach me
G&L Bass? I think your in the wrong forum, but tell me what your looking for. I know a couple of good places for American ones and can tell you where to look for Tributes.
Let's move this to Basses.............
I would recomend www.guitarmannyc.com , they had by far the lowest prices I had been quoted.
I can recommend Guitar Adoptions and Buffalo Bros.
I do not recommend Oklahoma Vintage.
Just my personal opinions.
Matt's Music (www.mattsmusic.com) offered me an excellent price on an L-1500, so he's worth a look.
Always a good choice!
BassCentral and Guitar Adoptions are good for American. What if he wants a Tribute?
From their website:
MR. E'S MUSIC SUPERCENTER
4913 Airport Freeway
FORT WORTH, TX 76117
Tel. (817) 834-1974
Don't know how up to date they are. I know some in the Houston area aren't listed.
Dave has lots of Tributes in stock at GA. I bought my GL Commanche from him a few month ago. Great guy to deal with.
+1 for Guitar Man NYC. Good selection of G&L Basses and good prices.
I love that Blue Burst L2000 with the binding and slim Jazz neck:
I recommend the G&L L-2000 Tribute, it's such a nice bass, when I bought it I compared it to a american one, and it's the same quality allthrough...
It would seem that every one of their G&L basses has custom wiring. They list Tritone pickups and active EQ! We G&L fans know the pickups are MDF/MFD/***, and the tone controls are passive......
What? No one reccomends Ed Romans???
That' thar's a funny un. I don't care who ya are, that thar's funny.
