Thinking of slowly upgrading my SX short scale bass and I can't seem to find a smaller beefier bridge with a 2" string spread anywhere, most are 2 1/4 or more.
Any ideas where to find one that has a 2" spread?
    Thanks in advance.

What s the reason for a 2" string spread? String spacing?

There are several bridges with adjustable string spacing, like schaller roller, schaller 2000, or kahler.

From center of E to center of G is just 2 inches. It's a 30 inch short scale model bass and the strings are spaced closer.

Which short scale SX is it? Both of my SX short scale Js use a bridge with standard string spacing.

My short scale P also has a standard bridge on it.

(edit: it is not an SX though, but string spacing is 19mm)

Here's a link to the bass

I got the bass alone at a dirt cheap price and plays well, maybe this is one of those if it ain't broke, don't fix it but I just wanted to upgrade a few things like the pickups, bridge and maybe tuners later on.

String spacing (string to string) is 15-16 mm

Some of the older SX shortscales had the 2" bridge. I have a couple of them.

If you ever decide to get rid of the bridge, give me a yell.
