LMII doesn't list anything Wenge, so I am curious as to where to turn from here. Think they might if they called, or anyone else have any experience in this area?

  3. You could try again. Email transmission isn't 100% reliable.

i have to say theres was pretty good. at one point in time, they did not have pictures of the sperzal tuners on their site, I asked to see the black/gold and gold/black versions and a few days later some pics were up.

dont get me started on my lmi fretboard experience. i had to return it 3 or 4 times before i just gave up.

I also never get any replies thru email from Exotic Woods. For wenge slotted board contact Warmoth.

Well, warmoth is a no-go. They don't sell wenge fingerboards.
Hopefully Exotic woods will email me back, otherwise it is cocobolo from LMII.

Damn it, this is turning into a crusade.
LMII is also not supplying Wenge, in any form. So I guess if I really want it I need to call exoticwoods, since they appear not to answer emails. (FWIW Warmoth and LMII answered emails within 2 hours!)
It also appears LMII does not have cocobolo boards in 5 string sizes.
    Oh well.

As long as I feel like I am carrying on a conversation with myself, if anyone else is interested, Pete at http://www.skjolddesign.com/
is making me a pre-slotted unradiased wenge board for 25$. It sounds like if other people are interested he would make more for people.
Very helpful guy, very cool in my book!
