Actually, you know what ticks me off? One of the booths I specifically wanted to hit was MM/EB to check out the new dual pickup SR's, and FORGOT!!!! I just got so busy with stuff on the main exhibit floor I barely got to check out that new Japanese 24 fret Fender J. Sheesh...

Here are some of the basses from the LowEnd booth, including the theft-recovered Benavente 5 (2nd from right w/light pickup covers)

These Eden cabs were cool. I don't remember if I saw them at the Winter NAMM, and I don't know if they're even available as an option, but they look nice. Bootsy Collins was standing right in front of them, so I had to ask him to move to get the pics ;)

Look close, this one has a cool texture in a black rubberized surface

and of course, a 'REAL' Ampeg fridge...

Of course!!! I played a pair of them. Mainly because one had an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp and another had a Demeter, and I'd never heard either of those before. Besides, the basses were really great. I preferred the Demeter. I'm thinkin' about trying a diff preamp in my Roscoe, which is why I was particularly interested in these two. They were a pair of the fives, which are actually not pictured. I wouldn't have a clue what to do with a 7. 6 is my limit. :)

  16. OMG, I'll bet that the Mike Adler 7 string was the most talked about bass at the show. Did anyone play it? Sweet..... :)

Thanks! Yeah, it's solid bubinga (ouch, heavy). It's the Jack Bruce Cream Reunion Bass (limited production).

Cool pics thanks! Does anyone know what the deal is on the explorer looking warwicks? Is that another Entwistle tribute or something else entirely?
