Whew! Just raised my self-esteem (Roscoe)....

  1. The bass with the same name as my favourite L.A. area chicken and waffles place. I traded a Fender Sting P-Bass plus some cash for it. I love it! Blue is my fav, and so is 35" scale. This one has the Bartolini pickups and an Aguilar OBP-1, which is boost-only. I just got it this afternoon so I'm still learning the preamp, but it's so much fun, I don't mind having to figure out something new.
Forgot to mention that it's the LG-3005 model.
  2. Oh so sweet! That is one nice bass!!

Man an MTD a few weeks ago...now a Roscoe!! You
are worse than I was a couple of yeas ago. I
bought a Roscoe a Modulus and a Lakland in a
very short time. Its real looker...but your fav is blue, but in the pic is has a brown stain?? Whats up with that.
  6. Hey Dan, it must be the lighting. The bass is a sort of medium blue colour.

I will look for pics of my Roscoe I sold a couple of years ago, and post one. It was a looker too!!
And it had a great "B" string too!!
    Great looking bass!!

  11. Big time congrats on a darn beautiful bass. I am saving for a SKB3005 fretless. Great sounding and great playing basses. And pretty good looking too.
  12. I bet that, with the maple fingerboard and Aguilar preamp, that thing is an amazing slapper, which is a good find in a Roscoe.

GOOD choice! Congrats! I love my Roscoe fretless, and I don't think I would trade it for anything.

Of course, my Roscoe 6 string fretless is for sale...:D

Congrats, FC! That is a BEAUTIFUL bass.

Very nice, I believe I would keep that one and the 535 for longer than a few weeks, if I were you.

Thats one of the nicest Roscoes I've saw. Hey, just curious how much cash did you add? I really love that bass dude :D
  17. I just gave the guy my Sting Bass (that I just got yesterday!) and some chicken, and some waffles! And that was it! Oh, and $800.

Very nice, Funky! Roscoes have great B's, and that maple board should add the brightness that wasn't in the Roscoes that I have played.

    That top is killer!!!
  20. Drool.. .Drool... Drool... Mmmm chicken...and oh yeah,I really like your newest addition...Not that I'm partial or biased.Congrats!!!
