Which affordable tuner for intonation

  1. I'm shopping for a new tuner since I don't trust the old one anymore. I don't want a rackmounted tuner, just a small one that's precise enough for intonating my bass, preferable with some kind of needle (perhaps LDC). Any suggestions?

  2. BOSS TU-2 works wonderfully well for me. I feel naked without it.

    I paid for all my gear myself. Well, me and MasterCard.
    I gave up on cheap tuners. I have a Peterson VS-1. At $200 it ain't exactly chump change, but it's mighty accurate, and reasonably portable.

    i have to second the Boss Tu-2 tuner. its a great little pedal, uses LEDs instead of a needle. works great, and is quick. Excellent
