Which affordable tuner for intonation

Discussion in 'Hardware, Setup & Repair [BG]' started by carl-anton, Oct 7, 2002.

  1. I'm shopping for a new tuner since I don't trust the old one anymore. I don't want a rackmounted tuner, just a small one that's precise enough for intonating my bass, preferable with some kind of needle (perhaps LDC). Any suggestions?
    Thanks :)

  2. BOSS TU-2 works wonderfully well for me. I feel naked without it.

I paid for all my gear myself. Well, me and MasterCard.
I gave up on cheap tuners. I have a Peterson VS-1. At $200 it ain't exactly chump change, but it's mighty accurate, and reasonably portable.

  5. Hi:
i have to second the Boss Tu-2 tuner. its a great little pedal, uses LEDs instead of a needle. works great, and is quick. Excellent
