Which amp for epifani? (with MTD 535)

Hello there,

Since I'm expecting the delivery of my MTD soon, I've just been taking stock of my musical situation and trying to figure out what I want for the future. I currently play in a regularly gigging rock/schmindie band, a kind of big band that does a mixture of motown, funk and jazz, a metal band and a functions band, so all in all I need a fairly versatile piece of kit.

I'll start off by saying I like the cabs I'm currently going through - Epifani UL410s, both 4 ohms. When I tried them out at the shop I went through a Mesa BB750 and it was based on the tone I could pull from that with my Pbass and Jbass that I chose the cabs.

I'd like an amp that can pull off some deep growl but also give a lovely, clean, gospel type tone. I also need something that'll go to 2 ohms. I've been told to look at a number of heads including the Mesa BB750, the Aguilar DB750, the Orange AB200 and the Mesa 400+ . I've also been told to just go for a complete Aguilar set up and a full Orange set up. All in all, I'm not really going to be able to try them all before I buy so if anyone can offer some opinions I'd be really grateful.

It's just I bought two 4ohm UL410's with the intention of picking up a second hand Mesa BB750, I'm just kind of considering my options before taking the plunge! Never thought GK! I'll be taking a look
