Which of these 4x10s would be the wisest option to mate with an SVT350? I need loud sound that will stay clean, and these options are very portable. Should I go with a pair of SVT410HE's or should I go with a single SVT410HLF? If I go with the 410HE's, I will buy just one to start out with and add another later on. So the amp will only push 200 watts until I get the 2nd cab (because it's an 8 ohm cab). Would you recommend pushing eight 10s (2 HE's) with 350 watts or the four 10s (one HLF) with 350 watts? I don't play 5-string, so I probably won't see the advantages of the HLF. But I am considering it due to the fact that it will squeeze the most power out of the amp, in case 350 watts is not enough for the two 410HE's. This is the option I want, if possible. By the way, the SVT810 is not an option, as it is too damn big. Thanks in advance, DAN Also, if I absolutely NEED more power in the future, I will just get a power amp and feed it with the SVT350's balanced line out. That way I can still use the Ampeg's power for a third cab, while the power amp pushes the original two cabs.
It sounds to me that you already have your mind made up. No doubt the HLF is a nice cab, but if you plan on getting another one in the future, you have to go with the 4x10he since it is an 8 ohm cab. 8 10's will probably sound better then the single HLF cab. With 350 watts, I would probably go with the HLF cab, but that is only because I play a Five sometimes, and like the extra ooomph. Just try before you buy!! jtbp
