Which Bartolinis?

I'm building a custom 5 string bass designed to evoke Phil Lesh's late 70's Alembic tone, but hopefully with the ability to dip into his early 70's and later 80's tones when needed also. I'd love to have Dark Stars, especially in the bridge position, but I don't think they'll be out in time.

I'm thinking Bartolini, preferably in passive stacked humbuckers. I'd like the neck pickup to sound roughly like a P-bass, and the bridge to sound more modern and mid scooped, but not quite to the EMG extreme, I'd like it to stay warm.

This bass will be used mostly with flats and a pick. I'm pretty much set on a Sadowsky preamp, which I know will work well with passive humbuckers. What pickups would you choose and why? The sky's the limit, I can rout for any shape.
