I was going to say a Jazz until the last few seconds unless it's a Jazz with the bridge pickup way up close to the strings. I think it's a Fender P/J, changed my guess and I'm sticking with it.
My guess is: this will be the sentiment of all but three TB members and the OP will never get the participation they hoped for.
Yours. Has a pbass roundness to it... sounds like you’re moving up and down from the neck to the bridge...
That was my second guess but it sounded like he was moving between two pickups to me, this would be a good way to prove how versatile a P bass is though just by moving your plucking hand around, but I still think it's a two pickup bass unless he's drastically changing volume and tone while he's playing it, I guess some sort of a P/J. Fender, OK, that's my official guess, I was wrong the other day on the Ric/Jazz, let's see if I can be wrong in two out of two. Fender P/J.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say with at least 80% confidence that that is an electric bass guitar
Interesting, are you that familiar with them? I'm not. I think everyone's gun shy after guessing wrong in that Ric vs Jazz thread the other day, I don't mind being wrong continuously.
I just threw it out there because I like Longhorns Do have an 09 Longhorn that would probably be my #1 most versatile bass behind my PJ's. Found very little wrong with it overall, except it looks like it costs them $15 to build them
I have always wanted one but could never justify it even though they're so cheap. Another thing is that cases are hard to find for them and I hate gig bags. So they're versatile, that makes me think.
I found it for $190 at Sam Ash after it had been there a year. They had two of them, and this one clearly was better. I'd have never paid full price for one
